John Carr
John Carr is an emergency planner and educator from Maryville, Missouri. He has worked with camps since first starting as a camp staffer while in college, eventually moving up to serving as standards chair for his local camp. His full time job is serving as Emergency and Disaster Management Program Coordinator at Northwest Missouri State University. John's areas of expertise are emergency management planning for small facilities such as camps, schools, and businesses, as well as citizen engagement in emergency management processes. John holds a masters degree in Emergency Management from North Dakota State University, and is pursuing a doctorate of Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.
